Hey friend, welcome to this episode!

Today we are covering the 7 ingredients required for a business breakthrough! These are the 7 steps I cover in my signature course, Business Breakthrough Accelerator and since it’s making its comeback and opening for enrollment again, I wanted to share a microdose of the content with you and get you some quick wins!

But you’re in for a special treat because today I’m going to give you a little taste of each module, or each step, to experiencing your breakthrough. Ready? Let’s do this…

Step 1: Mastering Your Mindset

In my opinion, mindset is the number one most important factor in success. That’s why it’s the first module of BBA and why there are additional mindset activities in every module. 

If your mindset is jacked, your business is jacked. If you lack belief in yourself or in your offer, you will not be successful. And I’ve seen this time and time again in women I’ve worked with. The ones who had that “I WILL be successful” attitude were the ones that succeeded. The ones that were constantly in their heads, overthinking things, doubting themselves, needing pep-talks, they were the ones who struggled and many quit. 

So if you are someone who is too in your head, girlfriend, get the fuck out. Excuse my language, but I’m so passionate about this. Nothing is finite. Take action, execute, keep going, and refine as you go. Stop overthinking every choice, every word, every post. Stop worrying about getting on camera in your stories and what people will think of you. Just freaking go for it and keep going. 

So let’s dive into 3 of the many many mindset topics we cover in BBA...

  1. Imposter Syndrome

    • ask 3 friends what you’re good at

  2. Fears: Identify which ones hit home and write positive affirmations to combat them

  • fear of judgement

  • fear of embarrassment

  • fear of failure

  • fear of success

  • fear of being perceived as arrogant

  • fear of not being able to juggle it all

  • fear of not being able to deliver

  • fear of rejection

  1. Goals Activity: Create a four-colum chart with these headings then fill it in:

    • What I Want and Already Have

    • What I Have and Don’t Want

    • What I Don’t Have and Want

    • What I Don’t Have and Don’t Want

Step 2: Developing an Irresistible Brand

1. Google Yourself

(If you have a “common name,” you can try your employer, your occupation, your city, etc. Note which combination of words helped find you.)

2. What are the first 3 search results that pop up for you?

Things to consider in branding:

Branding goes beyond colors and fonts. Branding allows you to reach and speak to your ideal clients. 

Identify:

What is your brand’s story?

Who do you serve?

Who do you NOT serve?

What is your secret sauce? 

What is your brand voice? 

Step 3: Nailing your Niche

Misconceptions:

  • The more people I market to and appeal to, the more sales I'll make.

  • If I niche down, I'll miss out on sales. 

  • If I get too specific, I'll push people away. 

Reality: When you try to reach everyone, you speak to no one. 

Must identify: 

Target Market: Specific group of people you serve

Niche: service you specialize in offering to your target market

Ideal client avatar: detailed profile of your ideal client

What makes you different? What is your differentiator or secret sauce?

-Subaru vs Mercedes

-Walmart vs Nordstrom

- McDonalds vs Chick-fil-A 

Examples: 

Fitness: carb cycling vs intuitive eating

VA: IG strategist or email guru

Biz Coach: sales in the DMs or public sales

Step 4: Creating High-Converting Content

I have done several previous episodes on content, so check those out if you want more tips on content that sells. But here is the framework I teach for content. 

My Framework: 

Attract: Create content that draws the right people to you 🧲

Serve: Provide value specific to their pain points & dreams

Accelerate: Make them “product aware” through your “problem aware” content {in step 2}

Convert: Make it a no-brainer for them to buy from you/join you because the appetizer portions of the value you’ve been providing leave them dying for the entrée

Step 5: Attracting your Ideal Clients

Do parallel audience recon

  • Examine top performing posts of accounts that have your ideal followers

    • what were the photos like?

    • what were the posts like?

    • what hashtags did they use?

    • what was their headline/CTA?

Create content that entertains, inspires, and educates

Step 6: Selling

Belief system (what you believe to be true) > Behavior (action you take/don’t take) > Outcome (income, feelings, reputation)

There are two types of people: 

Type 1 believe:

My success is inevitable and my offer changes lives > gives tons of value and pitches daily > makes sales, feels accomplished

Type 2 believe:

I don’t have what it takes to succeed and I’m not confident in my offer > gives sporadic value and rarely pitches > doesn’t make sales, feels like a failure, falls into a deeper downward spiral 

Gut check:

What is your belief system?

What is your behavior?

What are your outcomes?

Effective sellers focus on what they can control: attitude and effort

They know rejection is inevitable.

Confidence is key. 

Step 7: Scaling Like a CEO

In order to scale and create more freedom, automation must become your friend. Additionally, utilizing email marketing is a must.

At the time of this recording, it’s election month, Instagram has blacked out all “recent” hashtags, and they went through an update, so reach is way down. It’s very hard to cut through the election noise and algorithm obstacles to get your message seen. But when you have a solid email list, your business is algorithm-proof! You can continue serving and selling to your list no matter what happens. 

I currently have a freemium that is being pushed to my target audience through FB and IG ads, once they opt-in they are sent a welcome series which introduces me, provides value, then pitches my offers. 

Every day I wake up to new sales and subscribers. That is the beauty of automation. That is what ads and automation can do for your business. My biggest pet peeve with network marketing is that they don’t track this, they want you to show up and send 20 messages a day. But that is not sustainable or scalable. 

So that’s why I teach ads and automation in BBA!
