2015 Sneak Peek

What's on the horizon for 2015?

I spent this semester getting to know you, watching your LiveLessons, and discussing synchronous instructional strategies with you. I challenged you to incorporate more formative assessments, promote frequent student interaction, and use your webcams daily! I am blown away by the growth I've observed thus far! Kudos to all of you for continually improving your skills and positively impacting student learning.

So what's next?

If your professional goal focuses on LiveLesson attendance or engagement, we will continue to work on that goal. However, I'm shifting my focus next semester, targeting:

• grading
• feedback
• message boards
• communication

Additionally, I will help you prepare for your end of the year evaluation by asking you to submit a monthly artifact to your IA for each Danielson domain.

January: Domain 1: Planning and Preparation
February: Domain 2: Classroom Environment
March: Domain 3: Instruction
April: Domain 4: Professional Responsibilities

As always, feel free to request specific trainings for yourself, your PLC, or your department. I'm here to serve YOU.

It's been a pleasure learning with you and I can't wait to see what 2015 holds in store for us!
